Much ado about nothing

This morning it was raining cats and dogs. I was waiting for the rain to subside to catch a bus to work. The rain showed no signs of subsiding so I decided to flag a cab. After waiting for 30 mins I could not even find one taxi as all the taxis were hired. So I decided to walk 2 blocks and buy an umbrella. I bought a cute red portable umbrella and I walked under the shelter for 5 long mins and finally I opened the umbrella only to find that it broke into 2 pieces in my hand. So I walked back to the shop exchanged it for another functional umbrella. After all this the rain finally stopped….well a great way to start a day 
